Your Right to Opt Out
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal information for targeted advertising purposes.
Lampadom LLC shares certain data — including browsing behaviour and device identifiers — with advertising and analytics partners (including Google and Meta) for the purpose of targeted advertising. This qualifies as "sharing" personal information under the CPRA.
This page allows you to exercise your opt-out right.
How to Opt Out
Option 1 — Email request
Send an email to info@lampadom.com with the subject line: CCPA Opt-Out Request
Include in your email:
- Your full name
- The email address associated with any Lampadom account or purchase, if applicable
- A statement that you wish to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information
We will process your request within 15 business days and confirm by email when complete.
Option 2 — Global Privacy Control (GPC)
If your browser or browser extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Lampadom automatically treats this as a valid opt-out request. No additional steps are required. GPC-compatible browsers and extensions include Firefox, Brave, and the DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials extension.

What "Selling or Sharing" Means in Our Context
Lampadom does not sell your personal information for money. However, under California law, sharing data with third-party advertising partners in exchange for advertising services qualifies as "sharing" personal information, even without direct payment. This currently includes:
- Sharing browsing and behavioural data with Google for analytics and advertising
- Sharing browsing and behavioural data with Meta (Facebook/Instagram) for advertising, where the Meta Pixel is active
Opting out stops this sharing for targeted advertising purposes. It does not affect:
- Data we need to process your order and deliver your product
- Data we are required to retain by law (tax records, fraud prevention)
- Transactional emails about your order
Other Privacy Rights
As a California resident you also have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and share
- Delete your personal information (subject to certain exceptions)
- Correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information
- Non-discrimination — we will not deny you service, charge you different prices, or provide a lower quality of service because you exercised any of these rights
To exercise any of these rights, contact info@lampadom.com. We respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.
Residents of Other US States
If you are a resident of Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, or another US state with an active privacy law, you have similar opt-out rights under your state's law. You may exercise these rights using the same contact above — info@lampadom.com — and we will process your request in accordance with applicable state law.
Non-US Visitors
If you are in the European Union, United Kingdom, or UAE, your privacy rights are governed by GDPR, UK GDPR, or the UAE PDPL respectively — not by this page. Please see our Privacy Policy at lampadom.com/policies/privacy-policy for how to exercise those rights, including your right to object to processing and your right to erasure.
